David Bratt

David Bratt is President and a Trustee. David was Chairman from 2004 – 2008 he provides guidance and experience on all matters relating to the Society. He takes an active role in promoting the good name of the Society and membership growth.

 

Clarke Rogerson

 

Clarke Rogerson is Chairman and a Trustee with overall responsibility for the day to day running of the Society. He takes a keen interest in all aspects of our work and manages the organisational structure to the volunteers available

 

Positions vacant

 

Vice Chair – we currently have two vacancies one for the post of Vice Chair Field responsible for our Inspectors. The second for Vice Chair Admin responsible for volunteers and smooth running of operations at Taylor House.

 

Alan Postill

Alan Postill is our Treasurer and also a Trustee. He is responsible for all financial matters including all payments and expenses. Alan also draws up our monthly management accounts and annual statements and ensures compliance with Charity Commission financial criteria.

Reg Boot

 

Reg Boot is Membership Secretary and has responsibility for everything to do with our membership systems. Reg keeps a full register of all of our membership classes and the financial aspects of the system.

The Society has four Courts and Inquiries Officers: John Harker, Terry Norris, Harry Scott and Rhoda Barnett. They are responsible for progressing serious faults, e.g. obstructions and represent the Society at Public Inquiries and Magistrates Courts. The areas they cover are shown at the bottom of the page.

Adrian Littleton

 

Adrian Littleton is our Legal Adviser with responsibility for our constitution, ensuring compliance with Charity Commission guidelines and all other legal matters of the Society

 

Hilda Bowler

 

 

Hilda Bowler is our Faults Officer, she runs and maintains our fault and obstruction reporting system; sending out reminders to Highway Authorities on a regular basis. Hilda also has responsibility for the appointment and induction of new Inspectors.

 

David Morton

 

David Morton is our Signpost Officer and manages both the planting of new signs and the maintenance of our existing signs. He also maintains comprehensive records for all our signs and ensures that they are inspected on a regular basis.

 

Alan Hooley

Alan Hooley is responsible for our ‘Consultations and Orders’ section. Any proposed changes or orders from Authorities go to Alan and his team and are evaluated following reports from our Area Officers and Inspectors.
