Upgrades are always being made to improve access on footpaths in Blackburn with Darwen; however, due to the nature of the terrain around the borough, most paths will be unsuitable for some disability groups.
The Public Rights of Way page of the Blackburn with Darwen website is currently undergoing updating. The website will continue to be updated on a periodic basis with latest news and general information about the Rights of Way network.
Walk leaflets are available on the BwD website; however, these are not specific for people with disabilities. Alternatively, these are usually available at the Witton Country Park visitor centre, Blackburn Town Hall and Darwen Town Hall.
